RP 37 A Day at the Beach

Text on page 37:

But in July 1951, a conversation of interest finally developed. Two tapes revealed a discussion by Julia and another woman, apparently in Yiddish. These were immediately dispatched to the FBI lab in Washington for translation. In a few weeks the results were back and sent to Hoover by a special agent in the Washington office: “For the information of the Baltimore office, the conversation on cuts 14-5 and 15-1 appears to be a personal conversation between two women during the course of which they discuss the weather, their respective families and a day at the beach spent by one of the women.”
